Two Acre Paddock For Sale
The latest, proposed development from Linnick is on the site of a two acre paddock in the picturesque village of Kingston Deverill, Wiltshire.
The field, which in recent times has been used as a paddock for sheep and horses, is currently being investigated for development to provide for local housing needs. A proposed three dwelling development is in planning with applications submitted to the Wiltshire Council. Investigations into the impact of the proposed development on the local area's character, highways, archaeology, and ecology and wildlife have been completed.
The three new dwellings have been carefully considered in order to fit conscientiously with the surrounding areas of natural beauty. They would adopt a somewhat traditional form of a farmhouse with converted barn arranged around a courtyard setting. The farmhouse is planned as a detached, four bedroom residence while the barn consists of two semi-detached cottages. Furthermore, the materials are proposed to be in keeping with local, natural materials: stone, timber and slate.
The dwellings would be set away from the river and accessed via the existing approach held by the same owners. While the curtilage stretches in total to 2 acres, the proposed development would occupy the south eastern corner of this wider field curtilage and extend to approximately 1 acre (0.44 Ha). The detached farmhouse is expected to measure approximately 190sqm while the combined area of the barn would amount to 175sqm.
